Lexmark Printers

Postby Sky Blue Strawberry » Wed Jul 29, 2009 2:47 pm

Anyone on here got a Lexmark printer? If so where do you but compatible cartridges from? I've scoured the internet and no one seems to do compatibles only originals. Thought I'd found somewhere in Paignton but they don't work. I begrudge paying £20 from staples every few weeks

Could be worth checking Tesco out?

That's the problem with Lexmark printers very cheap to buy but ink is a rip off.

You would be better off buying a new printer every other week, or buy a decent printer epson, cannon, HP etc and get the ink cheaper.

Tried them Sickboy, no cheaper and usually out of stock anyway

CoC - I fear that might be the only solution in the end :(

ebay... usually much cheaper than anywhere else, but you will spend a lot on Lexmark cartridges, a company I avoid at all costs

if you consider getting a new printer, look for one with individual ink tanks (i assume your lexmark doesnt do that)

I got a Brother 117c multifunction for 50 quid, and buy a set of 14 inks (5 black and 3 of each colour) for 14 quid.... lasts me ages
