Blair Adams leaves

BY mutual consent. Have to say that I am suprised as I thought he was one of the better players in the games I have watched. Good luck to him.

I'm very surprised and disappointed. I know Elvis rates Haynes highly, but he is untested and we have no other left back on the books should he get injured, or any other left sided player. I'd have had both Adams and Haynes for next year, even playing together as they can both do the defensive and attacking side of things.

I thought Adams was probably our best defender last year. he does the defensive stuff well and he is decent going forward and his crossing is decent enough.

i think this could be a decision we come back to rue.

This is a decision that smacks of Pressley desperately trying to create a little bit of room in the budget to get the players he wants, gambling that Haynes will stay fit and will fulfil his potential.

I really feel for SP, he is working with both hands tied behind his back to his show laces.
Have fun

I guess we will just have to wait and see what comes in. It may well be that he has a replacement lined up.

Swanson from Posh looks a good player and was very highly rated in Scotland a few years ago. As he is bettling depression then he shoudl fit in nicely at this club.

I was very surprised to hear Blair had left. He was one of the few players I thought who was consistent. He got forward well, put decent crosses in and he did his defensive duty well. Very surprised to hear he had left.

I'm very surprised too.

Pressley's reasoning was "I feel that some tactical adjustments will limit his first team opportunities". Perhaps we're going to a Chilean style 3-5-2 or 3-4-3.

So who's surprised at Seaborne's departure?

Another 5min SP wonder :? Anyone would think we had cash to burn given the number of signings he makes and then discards. We really have to hope that the scouting and recruitment has improved massively from last season because if not this is going to be a long hard season.

Pretty surprised at the timing, seems they should have tried to move him on earlier if he wasn't in the plans.
