They are preparing to announce the sale of CCFC to a joint partnership of Eddie Jordan and Jojar Dhinsa. Breakfast is on the mug punters who turn up at the stadium cafe at a time that suits Dhinsa.

I think they're dissolving CCFC (Holdings) voluntarily, and this is a legal requirement for that. This puts ALL the clubs assets in Otium which is an interesting move. Obviously it's not the end result, they could just as easily set a new company up tomorrow and split it up again.

To be fair though AD....getting all the clubs assets into one place is the tidiest its been since about 1992.....

....that's also probably due to the fact that, as a club, we have a lot fewer assets

Seems to be one step forward towards coming out of the transfer emabargo as well - not that this is much of a problem as we have been able to bring players in for some time. But a step forward.

Interesting to see that no bitching, slagging off or releasing information in an underhand way has taken place since the recent meeting of Otium and the council. Also that PKH chap has shut up for a bit.

Has to be a first as well. Perhaps everyone has decided to act like adults. We can but hope I guess.

I welcome the tidying up of the corporate structure. Although now the ever cynical me can't help but wonder what the owners are getting out of it? Does it get them out of certain paperwork/reporting that may not look upon the favourably? Prevent legal action regarding the ongoing admin of the related CCFC Ltd?

I don't know, and I REALLY want to believe this is being done for the good of the club, but I've experienced far too many dirty tricks through the years to trust it.

When they set up Otium I believed it was to shove the assets into and put the old company into administration without losing out, and although not entirely accurate it has been the end result.
