With the 3 loan signings coming in I am guessing changes will be made. Might be a change at the back with the new CB coming in and at least now we have someone to bring in whilst Leon is out. It sounded as if a couple of these might end up as full time signings come January.

The big problem seems to be when Fleck or Thomas are missing the midfield loses its shape and teams just play through us, and this just gets worse when we start chasing games.

Barton looked ok last season but he looks off the pace when he has played this year, either because he doesn't suit the system or because he hasn't had enough game time. Clarke is error prone at the back but his pace is needed alongside Webster. Although Willis might well be a better option.

Of the new guys I remember seeing Dagnall in league two a few years ago and he seemed decent. I don't remember seeing the other two play but the defender in particular has a decent CV so hopefully he will help shore us up at the back.

Nice to see some action to try and prevent a blip becoming a slide. Injuries and suspensions are now starting to rear their heads, and I think an element of fatigue for some of the younger players, so some new faces are welcome.

I'm not sure if Dagnall is really a replacement for Clarke - he's a lot smaller - and it is unfortunate that a similar player already on the books is currently out of contention.

For me I think Wilson will be in need of a rest by Xmas, so maybe when Clarke returns from injury he'll get the rest and Dagnall will end up partnering both?
