Why single out McSheffrey in particular? Malaga has been paid and only played two games. To be left out by three managerial regimes since signing suggests something isn't quite right there. While McSheffrey's second stint has been an abject failure, as many of us feared it would be, his first was very productive and his goals kept us up a couple of times, and he got us £4m in transfer fees.
But of course he's the only one that came through the academy isn't he....

He has had injury problems but even so he is no where near the player he was went we sold him. I think every fan could see that but we made a strange decision to extend his contract. Good luck to him but glad that his wages are off the balance sheet.
