What the fuck is going on !

Without the points deduction we would have been sixth.

It's because I elected not to nip up the M6 this year.

I think my assertion not to go to any games this year might be the way forward ...

It's been a decent, and very exciting, start.

I think with the points deduction the team are playing without a care at the moment and free of all expectation and pressure, and that's showing itself in some of our forward play.

I also think lower 'home' crowds will help bizarrely, as we always freeze in front of a good crowd. I reckon 5k for the Preston game after the last two games.

While I think you're right about the crowd having some affect, I don't think it's the size particularly but more the general atmosphere of the crowd. In that Brizzle game last season at the Ricoh at 3-3 then at 4-4 the crowd would have been on their backs and there'd have been a general air of negativity or anxiety and I very much doubt we'd have won it.
