To be honest we are talking about CCFC so we probably wont win another game this season.

I think it's still a very long shot. After all in the last two games we've struggled to beat and snatched a draw against two quite poor sides at home. We've got Doncaster and the in-form Walsall coming up and need to make up a six point gap. All with Clarke missing, leaving us with one senior striker, and Baker missing at least one game. And even then it's only to get in the play-offs - that's hardly guaranteed to get promotion, or even a day out at Wembley as the JPT showed us.

And SISU still hold the trump card. if they believe we can go up, they can always pay up to prevent admin and thus the 10 point deduction.... Would the extra money from promotion make it worthwhile?

We only have four points to make up. We are three points behind Yeovil and Swindon but they have two games in hand on us (they play each other on Tuesday). We are three points behind Tranmere and four behind Bournemouth both of which have played the same number of games as us.

I agree that our current form and injuries still make it a long shot but the teams above us don't appear to be playing that well either.

Or to prevent that potential scenario they could ask to withdraw the petition and end up going back to the slanging match in the medium term, but at least with a cashflow improvement as comfort and an outside chance the club could get promoted, improving ACL's position in negotiations.

Thats how I read it as well but am no expert (on anything). What is the timeframe for this? I am sure that I read that the hearing was Friday is that correct and if so is this just a prelim hearing where a decision will be made or is it likely to drag on?

I can't imagine SISU will walk into the hearing on Friday unprepared. I would imagine they will either pay or find a way to delay the whole process. I don't think it will end up being the day everything changed, as its being talked up in some circles.
