A lot of people didn't bother to look closely at Robins had done at his previous jobs. His track record was good. Better than Pressleys.

how's Pressley's record on walking out & leaving people in the lurch ? Robins' was mighty impressive in that regard...

Hes a bit of an opinionated militant firebrand type from what I've been reading......

....That should be a good synergy with the Sisu approach.....

He's known to be a bit of a "reformer".
Should be fireworks.....maybe he's walked out already?

Judging by that photo we actually appear to have appointed visionary film director Terry Gilliam
as manager... [smilie=icon_blink.gif]

Still - if we end up playing like Brazil I won't complain......

He's so Scottish looking, it's amazing. He'll have a Fergie nose by the time we sack him in 18months.

Also, do you reckon he has to crawl under the desk to get in and out?

I'm actually quite excited, he's going to be much better than that **** Robbins and SISU have managed to piss off the mongs who wanted the new messiah. Happy days.

Ha ha...Citys cunning new plan to retain managers is to trap them in the office with cheap staples furniture...

...He doesn't look that scottish to me.....mind you, he is wearing long sleeves so we cant see the tracks....

3 1/2 year deal, sheesh, he's had us over a barrel! No manager should get more than a one rolling-year contract.

Have to admit that I think the 1 year rolling deal sounds the way forward. Any idea how many managers we are currently still paying off? Must be at least three or four. Oh well at least Elvis will get a decent pay off once we sack him come October next year.

Will be interesting to see how long ot takes him to get sent off - thats the only thing I remember from his days here as a player

Perhaps it's to ensure we get more compensation should he get poached like the last one.
