Will Tiger Tim win Wimbledon?

Ashes

So with less than half an hour to go until the first ball is bowled in anger the big question is.............

What does Burf think? [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

For me I think it will be closer than many people reckon, maybe 2-2 which (I think) means we would get to keep the urn

Am I right in thinking that if we manage to stay in all day tomorow we win?

Get to 500-550 by lunch and then skittle them out in the last two sessions, easy

Thanks.

Isn't tomorrow the last day though? IF we just bat and stay in, surely that's their problem...? :?

Quality.....wiped the floor with 'em.

First time we've had an innings victory over the convicts in nearly 24 years......

......the last time we did it, we won the ashes in Oz.... [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

Loved this quote on sky sports,

Barmy Army enjoying themselves immenserly here.
The Australians - who have once again come in their traditional day-five fancy dress by disguising themselves as plastic seats - are rather quiet.

Was going to sleep with it on in the background but kept on getting woken by a wicket falling. An hour and a half for the last six wickets! At the moment we look better at the crease, bowling and fielding.

Don't know where the Aussies go from here. They've played a fair few bowlers in the two teams so far, leaving a long tail, but they've struggled to take wickets since the first innings of the first test. They clearly haven't been picked because of their ability with the bat, which suggests they are the best the Aussies have got. I think Johnson will come back in - he's very inconsistent but he can cause some damage once in a while, and smack the ball around for a few overs to get a few runs.

Maybe they should just accept England will bat them off the park and hope for a lucky burst like Siddle's once in a while and re-enforce the batting line-up?

How nice the Aussies are having all these problems to deal with instead of us for a change [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

And re: the third umpire - why should it matter where the ball's pitching for lbw. If it show it hitting the wickets it should be out.

I understand that there's a higher degree of potential error the further the ball moves, but if you're going to use technology for decisions then it should be used fully, otherwise you're just penalising good bowling.
