...Gotta say I'm very impressed by the level of some of these recent challenges taken on & completed by "celebrities"......

...as an old cyclist meself, I watched a bit of the £1m bike ride on the tellybox yesterday.....Patrick Kielty was especially impressive....effectively time-trialing in 2 hour segments, he averaged a shade over 18 mph on several occassions :shock: I used to time trial on 10 mile routes and to keep yer average speed above 15 mph for that distance was hard enough....hats off to the funny irish man.

...and as for Eddie Izzard, he must be the love child of superman & wonderwoman :shock:

:shock: How very dare you.....

....I'm still as svelt & lithe as I was when I was 18.....My fighting weight of 77 Kgs.......its just that my 10 mile trial route was mainly uphill :lol:

....cycling is very good for you...you should try it tubby....

....I ride a fixed wheel road bike these days........silent but deadly...
