Coventry Half Marathon

Anyone else going to be plodding around the streets of the city this sunday? I'm making my long awaited return after a two year absence, but now wishing i'd trained more :(

Our kid bruvver clocked his 10th Great Norf Run recently in his best ever time......he put it down to going out with the dog.....a whippet - it's got him super fit.

I was due to do it, but I have a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament so will not be taking part this year unfortunately :(

PB smashed, previous best was 1:57:58, today did it in 1:45:44. Gutted i didnt break 1:45 but i'll take it. Something to aim for next time. Conditions were horrible, sunny, warm and v windy. But now both calfs are fooked, and i have 5 blisters :cry:

Not golf, greenkeeping keeps you fit. Not played golf on the course for over 2 months. Greenkeeping is defo the reason, walking 5 miles cutting greens in the morning does the trick.
