Hamilton - the funniest part

Postby Des » Sun Nov 02, 2008 9:31 pm

Watching the Ferrari team celebrating their win....for 5 seconds. ROFLMAO []

The Daily Mirror sums it up [smilie=icon_blink.gif]
British racing driver Lewis Hamilton today became the youngest ever Formula One world champion ever.

I tried to watch it, I really did. But F1 is so fucking boring it's untrue.

I know the people who like it, really like it, but it's just a fucking parade that relies on rain to make it even slightly interesting.

I managed to read three newspapers while it was on...it was that riveting !

As for the Glock "incident" that allowed Hamilton to win the title...............let's just say it was very "fortunate", eh ?

And they say wrestling fixed !

It was gripping - sport at its best. Don't think there was anything untoward with the Glock "incident" all the commentators were saying its a matter of time before his dry tyres would lose their grip, it just happened in the nick of time.

Thought Massa was very dignified in defeat

For most of the time F1 is the most dire sport imaginable, but the last few laps yesterday were gripping. Maybe it did rely on the rain, but so what. If a game of football is looking dull but then livens up because of a fluke goal do you care? In the last minute of the season the Championship changed hands twice before being decided in the last 5 seconds, and that's exciting no matter what causes it.

Glock was really struggling on the last few laps and I remember Brundle saying he was something like 15 seconds a lap off the pace. I was watching the final few corners and saw Hamilton and Vettel overtake him I just assumed it was a back-marker, as Ferrari seemed to as well. It was funny watching them celebrate

I didn't think Glock lost any time until the final lap. I doubt there was any conspiracy though. Clearly the tyres he had were totally inadequate for wet conditions... if they weren't then the top 5 wouldn't have all come in for intermediates with only a few laps remaining. Hamilton was simply very lucky that the rain came on time and heavy enough.

I'm with you, Boss.

I was watching the race down my mum and dads and the house was packed for the last few laps.
Let's just say the words " fucking swizz" filled the air at the end. No one had any doubts that it was fixed.

This is F1 we are talking about. It's not even a sport to begin with. And with everything else that has gone on in that "sport" I'd be more shocked if it came out that it wasn't a fix !

If there had been no late rain, Hamilton would have cruised to 5th and won anyway.

Considering how unpredictable the weathers supposed to be in Sao Paolo maybe he was lucky that the weather wasn't more changeable throughout the race. Yes he was unlucky I guess that the rain came but that misfortune was nothing compared to the good fortunate for him that the track deteriorated enough by the last lap.

The leaders came into the pits with the expectation that the rain was going to be significant enough... but the fact is when Hamilton came out of the pits he knew that he was behind Glock (and there was a chance he'd stay there) but that he was ahead of Vettel. Hamilton couldn't control the rain or Glocks speed (that was in the lap of the Gods) but he could stay ahead of Vettel. He didn't manage that. On racing terms he fucked it up.

Over the course of the season the points don't lie. Hamilton and car deserved to win. But yesterday he was poor and lucky. I personally don't feel this year the best driver won the title but F1 has never been about the best driver.

Well done team Africa. ;-)

Looks like Hamilton is the number one contender for media multicult pin-up boy since Khan got twatted, and Panesar is no longer winning test matches single handed. The same Lewis Hamilton who loves Britain so much that the first thing he did when he got some money was move out the country, and the lemmings still cheer him on because he's "British".

As for the actual race itself, entering the last couple of corners in the Brazilian Grand Prix Hamilton was in Sixth Position and due to lose out on the World Championship. All of a sudden Toyota's Timo Glock started slowing down and Hamilton passed him to win the Championship. Glock lost 18 Seconds on the last lap.

Felipe Massa is the real F1 world champion, not Hamilton.

Aye BOSS, the cavedwellers are wondering just how this white supremacist business could have gone so wrong.
Looking increasingly stupid as multiculturism increasingly holds sway.....what a bunch of twats.
Tomorrow will surely be a black day in the cave.

Tis true. I look at the success blacks have had in ruining running their own nations and I can't wait until we have a black in charge of all the big nations around the world.

Per ratio, your blacks are pretty prolific though aren't they? Must be the great impression your black gangsta rapper types set. ;-)
