Will England win a game of anything?
Will Tiger Tim win Wimbledon?

Went to see an exhibition of Higgins v Jimmy White last night. How sad to see a genius like Alex Higgins weighing a friel 7 stone and struggling to get round the table :( .
He can still play a great game of snooker though!

I lost interest in snooker when those two started slipping down the rankings.

Alex Higgins was an absolute legend of a snooker player. Arguably the greatest of all time in my opinion. It was Alex who got people interested in the game when it was a boring game in stinking backstreet clubs. The game wouldn't be where it is today with the Hurricane. Bollocks to your O'Sullivan - I'm worth £80 million but am depressed - arseholes, the Hurricane was and still is the bollocks as far as I'm concerned.

The same can be said for Jimmy White who has carried the can since Higgins demise.

The impressive think about Higgins was that he did nothing the way it was supposed to be done. Never lined up the shot, cueing was all over the place and yet he still managed to pot almost everything.

Aye, wonderful talent and always great box office.
When he stopped playing snooker lost it's star, White came close but the rest - like watching paint dry.
He reminded me of Floyd - the cook - another drinker, another who never toed the line.

Aye-horrible bloke when i met him a couple of times, but one thing he said when he retired always stuck with me-
"Snooker will be a worse place without Alex Higgins" and how right he was.
