Will England win a game of anything?
Will Tiger Tim win Wimbledon?

They should have got a few of East Londons finest in, we'd have walked it. ;-)

Australia (12) - better climate and more of a sporting culture

Not really...we have an awful lot of fat useless bastards here, we just have the infrastructure (The Australian institute of sport) who have the resources to spot, nurture and train the right stuff... Too right about the climate though.. you beauty !

I've hardly seen anything over the weekend and was amazed to see we'd absolutely rocketed up the leaderboard!

Same we've already decided which sports to introduce and take out. I'd take out the footy, just to piss FIFA off for not letting us play for so long, and the swimming, because by and large we're shit at it and the Americans do quite well. Take out the sprint races as well cos we're shit at them too.

Bring in darts and snooker, or even croquet cos no other nations play the fuckers!

Track and field - I find most of the running immensely tedious, especially the longer races, but I love watching the field events.

Beach volleyball [smilie=icon_emoticonthumb.gif] but gymnastics :? . A sport watched by closet peados I reckon ;-)

Darts and snooker have to get in... even if it is only for 2012... I'm sure the Chinese would be keen on the snooker too!

Some of the acrobatics in the gymnastics have been amazing... but then some of it looks crap and easy (although I'm sure its not).

We are definitely improving in the swimming. We had a lot more finalists this olympics than last and a lot of them won't be in their prime until 2012. We may see an Adlington effect somewhere down the line in the pool in the sameway as we are experiencing a Boardman effect in cycling now.

If only we could find some heroes in the athletics...

How fucking stupid are these people? Do they really think that the Chinese would laugh about it and give them a pat on the back?

also on SSN.... see how AMERICA are showing the medals table slightly different... i.e. total medals as opposed to most gold... thus keeping them in 1st place (albeit by only a couple)

GB winning in the velodrome had also become predictable. I'm a big cycling fan but this Olympics was hardly the most exciting with regards the track cycling because the Brits were in a class of their own. Plenty to admire but hardly edge of the seat stuff... Ohuruogu's win on the other hand was very exciting.
