played my first round for yonks yesterday and was shite  Long game was better than ever but from around the green it was a nightmare. Still enjoyed it, nice day, 80 degrees, followed by a few cold dorada's. Can't have everything perfect I surpose
2014 will be our year !!

played here http://www.golf-tenerife.com/1024x768/basein.html and no he was not, I had good company   Great course. Played with a lad who has never had any lesson of any kind, never been to a diving range and only plays about twice a year, yet he shoots in the low 80's  If he tried he would be amazing 8)

in fact you don't get many Brits playing it most of the year as it costs too much. As for the 13th, it's almost an island and yes I did lose a ball there   in fact I lost two

don't pay that much for a ball as I don't see it make that much difference. But one of the lads I played with uses them. Hits the ball a mile. On the 12th he took his 3 wood out and put the first out of bounds, over the wall. Re-loaded and did the same again  Getting angry now, re-loads again and again puts it over the wall  I said '' you've just spent a tenner in a minute''

I too played my first game of 2008  last week.

The fade/slice that I had ironed out of my game has come back with knobs on...

Hit a 98 on a Par 68....And it was only my putting that kept me under the ton.

Fucking rubbish.
......waiting for the great leap forwards [smilie=icon_paper.gif]

Seriously, It was terrible. Every shot left the club ok, but turned sharp left as it reached it top height & sdtarted to slow down.

If I hadn't of putted like Tiger Woods, It may well have been my worst card since I was a nipper.

I'm distressed just thinking about it.

I blame Gordon Brown, or the drugs, or Sid James.

Apparently, thats the best way.

I haved played a couple of rounds the wrong way round (right-handed) but really struggle with anything longer than a 5 iron.

I have taken money from me mates on pitch-n-putt courses whilst playing in reverse though...

Some of the best golfers I have seen do it that way. If you can you have a real advantage. One of the problems right handers have is "hitting from the top" and the weak slice you're complaining of. A lefthander playing right handed finds it much easier to stay on the inside coming down - you pour on the power doing it this way - hit it for miles.... :D 8) [smilie=icon_sport16.gif] [smilie=icon_div115.gif]
Davy Graham (an Australian) golfer actually started as pro playing left handed but his coach switched him round.....he went on to win the US Open - twice.
