He's in a class all of his own

Will Tiger Tim win Wimbledon?

I hope woods does play at The Open though......

So I can confuse the yank fans again with sarcastic & ironic ripostes to their constant "get in the hole" type whooping and a hollering

Those accusing him of faking it will have egg on their faces. He apparently won't play the rest of the year so missing the Open, USPGA and Ryder Cup.

And Graeme McDowell added: "Tiger is the first person to win a major on one leg - he's the greatest of all time. It was great drama and I don't care if he was injured or not. It made for fantastic television.

"Technically, physically, mentally he's better than everyone else and that's a scary thought. When he is on his game nobody is even close."

could not of put it better ;-) Such a shame about Tiger, to me it will devaule the open a little  But saying that, now we will see who has the hunger to pick up the jug and it could work out well for the UK golfers. I hope Tiger can make ends meet without the income

Thank you Tiger. Now you go and rest that knee of yours. [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

It devalues the tournament massively though....great shame.
Last year it was Padraig who is/was the hardest working European.
Wouldn't surprise me to see him win again.

US open was awesome, Tiger was immense. now he's out though the press are asking was it worth defying doctors orders, which makes me laugh as if it was for any other golfer the answer would be 'absolutely bloody right it was worth it to win a major.' But as its Tiger the angle they are thinking of is should he of rested the knee, missed the us open, and then had a shot of winning the other two majors of the year, instead of winning just one. Most of the Yanks i work with, who were holding on to a slim hope of maybe winning the ryder cup, are now resigned to losing again now that he's out.

Lloydy, how's it all going in the US? And haven't they realised yet that Tiger has zero desire in the Ryder Cup and consequently they'll be a stronger TEAM without him.

That articles pretty funny [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

Life stateside is great, thanks for asking. Temperature is very high, courses are excellent, my game has gone down the shitter tho as i just dont have the time to play. Need to make more of an effort, and buy some new clubs, that'll rekindle the interest. Averaging about 70 hours a week, and i've been told this is the quiet time. When the Senior tour comes the month leading up to is non stop. you basically go home to sleep for a few hours, then come back to work. cant wait :?

Edit: only one person has realised about Tiger and the ryder cup, but he doesn't like Tiger at all for some reason. Ryder cup should be excellent as they normally slow right down workwise, get the grill on and show the whole tournament.
