I did Billy.. could only find a return that was about Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£12.50 but the trip down there was Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£14.50 or something like that.

Scrap that.. just had another look and can get a return for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£25 now so as long as there are some tickets left, i'll probably go

A quick tip for anyone booking the train..

I had a look this morning and the cheapest way to do it was to book 2 singles. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£12.50 out and Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£12.50 back, but when I looked again 30 minutes later, all the cheap singles had gone!

So, I rang Virgin (08457 222333) and booked it on there and managed to get the Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£12.50 singles. The bloke said if they have a rush of the cheap singles sold, they take them off their website for a period of time.

So if you are thinking of going to QPR onthe train, might be best to ring them up to book the tickets.

Calm down peeps, some of us have work to do!

Looking at the old tube map, Notting Hill Gate looks best place to meet up as it on most tube lines (Central, District and Circle) and only two stops from Shepherds Bush.

The closest pub to the station according to tinternet is the Royal Albert which is opposite the tube station on Pembridge Road (number 11). This looks a bit dodgy according to the reviews.

Yes to first question and I think they are both a similar distance. White City is 3 stops from Notting Hill Gate so easy enough.
