I went to see Oasis/Enemy/Kasabian in Manchester for the opening night of the tour. Enemy didn't turn up because the lead singer had food poisoning or something and were replaced by Reverend And The Makers. Oasis and Kasabian both played alot of their old stuff which I prefer, turning it into one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Also, rumour has it that Kasabian aren't playing purely because its Coventry. Pretty sure they're not doing their own tour as tickets for that don't come out until November I don't think?

I take that previous paragraph back. I've just been looking to see when tickets for their next tour come out, and I found out their playing a gig in Cambridge on Tuesday already.

I wish i wasn't going to be honest, i'd much rather have spent the money on seeing a properly talented band like blur for the second time in a week at hyde park tonight but i got talked into it and buying a spare! Fucking women.

I'll let damon know how upset you are that you cant be there.

Backstage passes thanks to the wife, massive performance.

What did you think Mellie?

It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
Highlights for me were Universal and To The End.

It was fucking immense, right up there with the finest gigs i've been to. Absolutely fucking **** mind.

Was sat next to Ewan Mcgregor who was a top bloke, his wife on the other hand was a ****.

Still recovering, but the wife loved it too, and that is a glowing endorsement if ever there was one!
