Haircut 100/Nick Heyward quite a few times

Buzzcocks/Pete Shelley too many times to remember

The Alarm

Kraftwerk/Karl Bartos

Matt Bianco

Human League 3 times

OMD 3 times

Howard Jones

Bad Manners

UB40

China Crisis

The Truth 2 times and I swear I saw Blur supporting them in Oxford but to be fair I really remember that gig for the punch up the Truth lead singer had with a bloke in the crowd midway through the concert !

Only two of those stand out as poor......China Crisis and the first time I saw The League in the eighties. The first time I saw The Truth, they were four hours late and played only three songs.....and they were still better than China Crisis !

if there is a better live show than The Boss I have yet to hear of it. 3+ hours of pure rock. In fact I will be seeing him in Gran Canaria in a few weeks and even at 62 he puts the rest to shame.

The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Love, My Morning Jacket, Flaming Lips, Fatima Mansions.... best gig I ever went to was at The Duchess of York in Leeds circa 1992 but I can't for the life of me remember the bands name.

I was amazed that Journey stayed out this thread for so long.

Guns N Roses in about 93' was the best live band I have seen. Axl had one of his good nights, I heard that the people who went the following night got one of his "I couldn't give a fuck" nights.

Therapy? were brilliant when I saw them in 93' and pants when I saw them about a year later.

I've seen Oasis 3 times, and the first two they were piss poor. The third time they were good, but not to the level that all the hype says they should be.

The Prodigy are always awesome live, at least they were the 4 times I saw them about ten years ago. Manic St Preachers are also pretty impressive.

Green Day and Bon Jovi both surprised me with how good they are live in a stadium setting.

The Chemical Bros are the most pointess band I have seen live, two guys standing behind a desk. Total waste of money.

But the worse band I have ever seen probably goes to Kasabiabn. The singer, I can't remember his name, was off his face and all over the place, kept missing his ques and he was totally out of tune. The rest of the band were obviously embarrased by him, and I was surprised they didn't split up not long after that.
