^^^ Yes, I'll definitely be at Peterborough as it's a trip up the A1 from where I live now. If you don't fancy travelling all the way there, you're quite welcome to stop over at mine and get a lift.

Don't care how they did it, just bloody pleased with 3 points. Hopefully, the goal was hugely controversial and brought on a Warnock melt-down.

Was in the running shop in Cov when we scored, from what i could make out over the whine of the treadmill it was a class finish. Pleased as fuck with this result, great to get 3 points away against a decent side, and even better to bounce back after the Newcastle result, city squads of old would of started a bad run after a beating like that, and from the 15 mins i heard of the phone in it sounded like we fully deserved the win and showed some really character and team strength. Well done Coleman and the lads [smilie=icon_mrhappy.gif]

He (Bell) had been on for about 10 mins when a Palace move broke down on the edge of our box......it was worked through to Bell on the right who played a wall pass with Stead (I think) ...Speroni was off his line but Bell's thinking was clear as he chipped him perfectly. ....the ball squeezing off the inside of the far post. It was an incisive move as both teams started to look for a winner. Palace though looked tired and more vulnerable as the match wore on.
Our least effective player was Gunnars who looked mentally slow and off the pace throughout. None of his throws beat the first man and he missed a glorious 1 on 1 chance around the hour mark when cleverly played through by Morrison.
For me Baker was a revelation; bright, quick and inventive.....a real gem. His control on a dreadful pitch was impressive all game as most of creativity cam through him. Wood, Wright, Stead and Morrison all played well but Baker was MoM.
In all honesty Palace did not deserve to lose but, at the same time, Westwood was rarely troubled, we certainly never looked like losing and bossed long periods of a dull match won by just one piece of magic.
Morrison is more popular at Palarse than he is at the Ricoh......work that out?

Fully agree Bolix, apart from I think that we fully deserved the win! It would have been a case of 2 points dropped in my opinion if it had finished 0-0. Baker is a great player and looked dangerous throughout the game. The next 3 games look very winnable now IMO, get 7 points from 9 and who knows what can happen! :D

Did anyone else think the BBC highlights (Saturday night, as I haven't watched the online one yet) was totally biased towards Palace? From what I can remember we had more shots on target than them and yet only showed the goal!

Oh and that Palace players song was shit!!!

IMO we dominated the entire game and they were a poor team, it was beginning to look like it wouldn't be our day thought and we would have to settle for 2 points. The notion that Palace dominated and were unlucky is complete bollocks. Is always the same with the London teams though.

The tv coverage was not representative but what do you expect? It lasted about 2 mins and the context is "Isnt Palace the unluckiest team ?"
which in light of recent events is hard to disagree with.....yes, it is irritating that tv journalism is lazy but it is far harder to challenge percieved wisdom than challenge it. All journos are cunts in this regard. Laziness born of following the easy story rather than anything resembling the truth.
CC won us the match with his tactics and subs. Spot on. Remember shortly before Bell arrived Baker and McIndoe switched wings and on two occasions nearly got us a goal.

TV coverage was rubbish, highlights on bbc website show a bit more detail, including a few more City attacks.

.....but then I'm a lazy cunt and never re read before posting.

CCFC tho' are getting some good press at the moment.

Just seen Bell's goal again properly, if that had been Rooney it would be talked about for weeks to come. Have got to say that Palace is one of the best away days that I have been to.
