From the football rumours site so is probably a load of shite.....

Sky Blues fans-some good news. Adams has all but finalised 3 deals that will be completed by Monday 12 June. First up is a sensational return to Coventry for Huckerby, following his return Colin Cameron will sign on a free. The 3rd deal to be done is a superb move for Rohan Ricketts. The only slight downside for CCFC fans is that 3 or 4 prem clubs are talking silly money for Thornton so expect him to do a Davenport and be playing elsewhere in the championship next season on a season long loan from poss Newcastle or Man C

I don't get it. :?

In answer to your question: Emile Heskey and Owen Hargreaves, for a combined fee of £17.50.

A loan transfer won't happen till July, he isn't coming on a permanent transfer because he's only signed a 4 year contract with the hammers.

Plenty of players have signed long term contracts in the past then been transferred just afterwards. Contracts these days mean next to nothing. If we offer them the asking price they are after then they will sell. He is unlikely to be part of the first team squad this season and is about 5th choice centre half so its a possibility.

Doesn't mean it can't be announced yet. Everton have already loaned Tim Howard for all next season.

I doubt Adams would be looking at loans this early though.

Why not? If a player is available that he wants but only on loan then I would hope he is talking to the club. Would have no problems with Ward (or anyone else similar) coming in on loan as long as there was no recall clause.

I would just expect that he's looking to make any permanent additions before he looks at loan.
