Seeing as Shipman was a family GP I doubt he performed many operations.

Good signing, although there was probably better players out there for £1m, so I doubt we shelled out that much on him.

Great signing. West Ham and Plymouth fans only have good things to say about him. Our defence looks great on paper now! WTF is going on?!?

We've finally got a manager who knows what he is doing.

He kept us up when he took over. Then he guided us to our highest finish since we were relegated. Now he is looking to move us onto the next level, and I have every faith in him to achieve that goal.

Superb buy, looks like Mickey is sorting out the squad position by position with three defenders thus far.

i liked this quote
'I'm positive it's not a question of finance. If we wanted him, we could have got him. No doubt in my mind too, that if we had had a bid accepted, he'd have come to us in a heart beat.'

What's up y'all. First post and that.

I'm down the smoke and the bubble blowers love him at Upton Park. A few of my Hammers mates reckon he's worth £3/4 millionon current and potential abilty. Here's what's their message board says:

I was a bit sceptical about Adams with the precious funds, but he's convincing me more with each signing. Fletcher and the dudes deserve huge credit too. For once it feels like a real fucking club.

I was unsure about this signing because I had never heard much about him and plus we paid £1m and that is alot for us and seeming has he hasnt played hardly much football this season, but now I have read what other clubs thought of him he seems a good signing, our defence is looking solid and I am raring for the new season to start now

also what i want to know is, we paid £1m for a centre back but how much is the budget we actually have and how much do we have to spend now because it seems alot for one player unless we have a pretty good budget, adams said somewhere that most of the signings he is planning are not going to be free transfers and he has got most of his free transfers done, cant remember where i seen it, ill try and find it again

The budget is likely to be around £1.5m? However we won't have paid £1m up front for Elliot Ward.

We haven't used the whole budget yet as we are still after Fulop.
