Good signing, but I'm still worried about our total lack of firepower up front!

Aye, defensively we're starting to look good in-depth - but where are the goals coming from next season? Hopefully another striker is next on the list, assuming we've got any Bish Bosh left of course. Nearly fell off my chair when I found out we've spent £1m on a player!

Looks like it's congratulations to Paul Flectcher on this one;

He's a class defender, and it's a huge statement of intent from the club.

I was shocked when I saw it though.

It's certainly good news - he seems very highly rated.

He could do with a fooking haircut mind! :lol:

Great signing, the back four seems solid now. But when are we going to sign a keeper, or 2 in fact!? And I would like to see Cameron signing aswell, as we are in dire need for a right sided midfielder, and has been for the last couple of years. A striker would be welcome as well, but I think that Stern and Pele/Scowcroft are decent.

Good player. Hell of a lot of money though considering our predicament.

Think it will be a good signing for us, our defence is looking like it could be quite good next season providing we get a goalkeeper.

I think a lot of credit has to go to the Untrust for this because since its been formed we have been able to spend money on players :D

The 21-year-old joins the Sky Blues in a deal valued at £1-million

Don't forget, Davenport's move was valued at £3m.
I can't see there being any more than £500k up front, and various other clauses like promotion etc.

I can't understand how a player with Championship experience costs £1m, but his replacement at West Ham, who has Premiership experience, cost half that amount.........

Very true indeed. Well done folks :wink:

Now just wait till we really get started, i fully expect Ronaldinho to sign by the end of the season.

from what ive heard, it isnt a mill up front, which might be why we still have some more cash left for transfers in the coming weeks, and these two new directors investment was part of the deal because its part of the operation premiership fund

Good signing - now forgive me if I've missed something as i've not been around for a week or so - but do we actually have a goalkeeper at the club? :?
